This was the result of last Christmas' cookie project. Fun to do, tasted great but very time consuming. Got the recipe from Land o' Lakes website. May be rolled out thicker like shortbread. A good tip is to cut-out the dough shapes & freeze (use heavy duty freezer bags) so they're ready to bake anytime. I decided not to color the confectioner's sugar icing and I think they looked better all white. The effect was like snow on the cookies. Made a few batches to giveaway too. It's a great gift idea.
